The ski slopes donated the ski equipment, lift tickets and tube tickets. The Gamekeeper's Tavern played host to an event after the skiing, which included a dance party and a dinner of ribs, fries and soda. This was the first event of its kind and according to Kowal, it will be done twice a year in the winter and summer seasons.
Tour de Cashiers - May 1, 2010
The Gamekeeper's Tavern and Cedar Creek Racquet Club were the proud 2010 sponsors providing food for the riders.

There were 170 riders, including about 30 Blue Ridge Double riders. The weather cooperated, with comfortable temperatures throughout. After a light drizzle at the start, riders had dry roads and mostly cloudy conditions until late afternoon, when the drizzle returned for the later finishers among the 100-milers. It was a great group of riders, volunteers and sponsors. Thanks to all for making the event possible.
